Danfoss - Nordborg
Ventilation in L2 South
Belvent Project No.: 2018-042
To meet Danfoss’ Energy Goals 2030, it was decided to replace the existing ventilation systems.
The contract covered work in the southern hall, which has an area of 8,750 m². Here, two ventilation units have been installed, each with a capacity of 105,000 m³/h. The units are also designed to function as smoke extract fans, where each unit can extract 160,000 m³/h of “cold” smoke from the hall, should the fire authorities require this in the event of a fire.
The project scope included:
Delivery and installation of extraction ductwork
Delivery and installation of air‑supply fabric ducts
Delivery and installation of supply‑air ducts, including connection of transition ducts to the fabric ducts
Delivery and connection of terminal boxes mounted directly after the ventilation units, manufactured in insulated sections matching the colour of the ventilation units
Delivery and installation of various dampers and ducts
Commissioning and balancing of both ventilation units
