Ib Andresen Industri - Halls 20-21-22

Installation of a process ventilation system for welding robots and extraction arms, as well as relocation of existing filtration and ventilation systems.

Belvent Project No.: 2018-042

As a result of a record order to Ib Andresen Industri for the delivery of steel to FLC (Femern Link Contractors), the production capacity needed to be expanded.

  • Delivery and installation of process ventilation units providing demand‑controlled variable extraction volumes of approx. 1,000–8,000 m³/h at an external static pressure of approx. 1,000 Pa. At a lower system pressure, e.g. approx. 500 Pa, the units can deliver up to approx. 9,000 m³/h.

  • Each unit is equipped with an approved cartridge filter system with a total filter area of 210 m², resulting in a maximum load of approx. 43 m³/h/m².

  • The average extraction requirement is estimated at approx. 5,000–6,000 m³/h, of which approx. 40% supplies the extraction arms and the remaining 60% supplies the welding robots.

  • The extracted and filtered process air is routed through an integrated cross‑flow heat exchanger, which helps preheat the replacement air supplied to the room. To supply a replacement air volume corresponding to the extracted process air, the unit is equipped with a frequency‑controlled supply‑air fan that draws in fresh outdoor air, filters it through an M5–F7 bag filter, and preheats it via the cross‑flow heat exchanger before the air is supplied to the workshop/area where the process extraction takes place.

  • The entire installation can be controlled via the BMS system.

In addition, the project included several supplementary tasks and deliveries, such as the supply of welding curtains and extraction arms.
